Summary:
The position is responsible for providing overall general support for the Human Resources function in a manner which achieves company and departmental goals, while building and maintaining quality relationships with employees.
Major responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, documentation and upholding legal compliance and company values.
What you will do as our Human Resources Generalist:
Provide HR support with all aspects of talent acquisition, compensation adjustments, benefits, training and development, payroll, records management, safety, and employee relations.
Plan, prepare documentation, and conduct HR functions through the full cycle of employment, including recruiting, onboarding, coordinating internal job postings and fairs, and staffing with temporary staffing agencies.
Understand all HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, using those to communicate and reinforce organizational values.
Enhance department reputation by supporting activities that drive engagement throughout the organization.
Build constructive relationships with employees, supervision, and management.
Represent the HR team in providing support and tools to all levels of employees to achieve a solution-based team environment throughout the company.
Involvement in internal investigations and assist with the progressive disciplinary process, including termination.
Maintain complete and accurate records, including personnel files for all employees.
Assist in the administration of attendance and leaves of absence, including FMLA, STD, and LTD.
Maintain HR Information Systems (ADP, Moodle, DocStar, Epicor, etc.
) for all employees, including new hires and change in status information.
Perform duties and responsibilities within acceptable standards as outlined in company policies, handbooks, and applicable work instructions.
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
What will help you succeed as our Human Resources Generalist:
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and transferable experience Minimum of 1 year experience in HR in a manufacturing environment, 2
years preferred Flexible schedule to be able to see all manufacturing shifts in small increments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong ethical and cultural awareness Must be a self-starter with the ability to maintain timelines in an ever-changing environment Comfortable and successful with managing projects, with a drive to complete tasks A team player, but also thrives in independent work Aptitude for problem-solving and effectively manage workplace conflict Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality work Proven success working in a related field with transferrable skills that would support our HR department Must represent the company in a consistent and professional manner Some knowledge of ADP, or other payroll systems Ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary Job Type:

$50,000.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
